Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Zapier and Zapier Expert

Zapier (sounds like Happier) integrates and connects different SaaS solutions using official API endpoints visually, without using code.

Zapier owns Zappier.com too (to rhyme with Happier), but because they also want to highlight ‘API’ in the name, they work with Zapier.com instead.

Yes. And because Zapier triggers don’t count towards tasks/operations, and because internal Zapier actions are free, in many cases, automating a task using Zapier is cost-efficient even after considering the cost per task/operation.

Zapier Certified Experts are people who not only know how to use Zapier but have also cleared a rigorous Zapier certification exam to earn the title of a Zapier Certified Expert.

My work is usually agnostic of the business area, but I love automating marketing and sales workflows.

The choice of the tool depends on your exact use case.

This is highly subjective because there are many factors (like ease of use, cost per automation workflow, cost per intermediate step) to factor in when choosing the right automation tool/platform.

I would suggest exploring all the tools for a use case and pick the one that makes sense, both in terms of ease of use and cost.
Over time, you would develop the intuition to simply implement any particular use case with a specific platform.
